These are some before pictures looking into the trunk/rear area.
This first picture to the left shows the passenger side trunk floor piece. Notice that you can see right into the top of the frame rail through the rotted steel.











This picture is showing you the same piece toward the tail light panel None of this steel is salvageable. Notice the patch panel in front of the angle brace to try to keep the spring out of the trunk for a few more miles.

This is the top of the wheel house on the drivers side The flat top where the convertible rests when down is in the wrong location (too far forward)
A friend theorized  that Ford had a better idea.. got a bigger hammer and finely adjusted the wheelhouse by beating a flat in the top.There was no damage to the surrounding metal (accident)
