Once the structure (re-pans,rail extention and torque boxes were in place, The interior of the metal(which has all seen epoxy primer was completely wiped with a lite coating of grease.(remember i'm in New England where my teeth could rust away).These panels,hopefully, will never see the light of day again.
The floor pan to firewall ext pans were welded in place. then the full set of floor pans(both side) were welded in place Again puting a lite coating of grease over the epoxy prime that would never see light again.

The outer edge of the firewall where it meets the cowl side  panel was cut out (rot) along with the front of the cowl panel. Patch pieces were fabricated and welded in and ground, hopefully to make the repair look invisible.
I wanted to save these panels because they look different then the replacement panels that they sell
